Responsibilities | Answers telephone, screens calls, takes messages, and provides information according to established policies. | Effectively and efficiently assists with coordinating the day-to-day activities and special projects/programs of the assigned area. | Prepares reports and agendas, schedules, and manages administrative duties for departmental meetings. | Maintains records and files – including but not limited to medical files and personnel files – efficiently without error. | Monitors office supplies and replenishes supplies as needed with the limits of the department budget. | Oversees maintenance of office equipment according to the recommended maintenance schedule. | Provides general clerical support for other areas as requested. |
Possess the information, skill, and understanding of the work to be performed. Actively participates in continuing education opportunities and maintains certifications, licensure as appropriate. | Abides by all safety requirements including demonstrating proper hand hygiene and wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), if applicable. | Complies with all standards, policies and procedures including dress code, attendance and punctuality. Attends required in-services and meetings and completes all mandatory competencies by deadline. Commits to keeping all patient, student or colleague information confidential and maintains ongoing communication and collaboration with team members. |
