Position Summary | Facilitates the changes in the inventory process. Monitors and expedites supplies as needed. Receives, stocks, and dispatches supplies and equipment for all areas. May perform duties related to the delivery of supplies and equipment. Unpacks receipts, verifies product accuracy, documents receipt and delivers product to departments. Replenishes supplies to end user departments. Unpacks and puts away new products on shelves in materials storeroom. | | | |

Responsibilities | Maintains cycle counts of warehouse systems for additions and deletions to correct computer inventory fields. | Maintains and provides monthly turns report and reviews stock status weekly. | Communicates with nursing services concerning stock outs and substitutions. | Communicates out of stocks and other inventory issues with supervisor and designated colleagues of all affected areas using appropriate software. | Expedites items showing out of stock in computer system. | Communicates with local supply chain and other necessary departments new or outdated items, quantity changes and product number changes. | Communicates with local supply chain concerning backorders. | Maintains information and updates inventory management system and par carts with necessary changes. | Provides coverage and monitors workload for inventory. | Verifies shipment, notes damages and shortages, completes receiving documentation. | Notifies purchasing of discrepancies and material received against material ordered. | Maintains and updates labeling in the storeroom and designated customer supply areas. | Stock picks supplies as requisitioned. | Performs data input for supply requisitions to provide computerized pick lists. | Confirms and closes all pick lists to maintain accurate inventory levels. | Maintains clean unicells, storerooms and check outdates on a regular basis. |
Possess the information, skill, and understanding of the work to be performed. Actively participates in continuing education opportunities and maintains certifications, licensure as appropriate. | Abides by all safety requirements including demonstrating proper hand hygiene and wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), if applicable. | Complies with all standards, policies and procedures including dress code, attendance and punctuality. Attends required in-services and meetings and completes all mandatory competencies by deadline. Commits to keeping all patient, student or colleague information confidential and maintains ongoing communication and collaboration with team members. |
