Position Summary

The Talent Acquisition Consultant works closely with HR leadership, the Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence (COE) and hiring leaders to understand the Health System's staffing demand needs and develop a proactive, innovative assessment and recruitment strategy to identify, source, recruit, select and onboard the industry's top talent. This full cycle recruiting role will manage an efficient process for assigned positions.


Education

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing/sales or related field is required.

H.S. Diploma or equivalent plus 5 years of recruitment experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.


Experience

2 years Talent Acquisition experience is preferred.

1 year of talent sourcing experience is preferred.

Healthcare industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Manages the hiring process and oversees the full recruitment cycle, ensuring each candidate receives an exceptional candidate experience.

Conducts candidate screenings, assessments, and ultimately recommends several top candidates to hiring leaders.

Builds relationships with candidates, and creates proactive candidate pipelines for future needs within department/service line(s) supported.

Serves as a trusted partner to hiring leaders; consults with hiring leader on talent pool, department needs, and assists them with interview scheduling.

Recommends options to hiring managers around recruitment marketing strategies that are proactive, innovative, and cost-effective.

Maintains accurate recruitment records and documentation in applicant tracking system, ensuring all regulatory requirements (state and federal) are met.

Utilize advanced Internet and phone recruitment techniques to identify, source and recruit the industry’s top talent (active and passive candidates).

Utilize behavioral based interview techniques to efficiently assess candidate competency and eliminate unqualified candidates as early as possible in the process; effectively, timely and accurately dispositions candidates.

Meets with Talent Acquisition Leadership, HR Partner and/or directly with hiring manager after a staffing need is identified to develop or recalibrate on the job description/job profile and define appropriate delivery of service level agreements in alignment with the Talent Acquisition Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).

Ensures once a candidate has accepted an offer that new hire forms are completed prior to moving to the Preboarding team.

Make recommendations to hiring managers on the selection of the most qualified candidate.

Provides information related to culture and benefits to potential candidates, which promotes Health System as both the provider of choice and the employer of choice.

Participates in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of special projects.

Follows guidelines as represented in the Talent Acquisition SOP document.

Travels to events, including but not limited to trainings, recruitment events, career fairs, and other job-related functions/activities as required.


Possess the information, skill, and understanding of the work to be performed.  Actively participates in continuing education opportunities and maintains certifications, licensure as appropriate.

Abides by all safety requirements including demonstrating proper hand hygiene and wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), if applicable. 

Complies with all standards, policies and procedures including dress code, attendance and punctuality.  Attends required in-services and meetings and completes all mandatory competencies by deadline. Commits to keeping all patient, student or colleague information confidential and maintains ongoing communication and collaboration with team members.
