Position Summary

Responsible for transportation of goods to various locations particularly in Illinois with limited travel in Wisconsin.  Home nightly.  Assists with loading and unloading trucks. Follows appropriate safety and documentation procedures. Checks mechanical aspects of vehicle to maintain good working order.

 


Education

High School Diploma or GED is preferred.


Experience

1 year of safe driving experience with CDL license is preferred.

 


Certificates, Licenses and Registrations

Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A is required.

 

Valid medical card is required.

Responsibilities

Safely drives all company vehicles in delivery of freight.

Maintains and operates equipment safely using defined procedures.

Knows all moving equipment and proper use for each.

Assists workers in loading and unloading trucks.

Checks and documents mechanical aspects of vehicle.

Correctly completes all paperwork for designated job.


Possess the information, skill, and understanding of the work to be performed.  Actively participates in continuing education opportunities and maintains certifications, licensure as appropriate.

Abides by all safety requirements including demonstrating proper hand hygiene and wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), if applicable. 

Complies with all standards, policies and procedures including dress code, attendance and punctuality.  Attends required in-services and meetings and completes all mandatory competencies by deadline. Commits to keeping all patient, student or colleague information confidential and maintains ongoing communication and collaboration with team members.
