Position Summary | Responsible for assisting with financial and variance analysis of Local Systems and other HSHS affiliates. The position will provide refined analysis of monthly operations to support monthly accountability reporting to the Local Systems and affiliates. | | | |
Education | Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field is required. |
Experience | 3 years’ experience in accounting, finance, statistics, healthcare or related field is required. | Healthcare experience is preferred. |

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities | Ability to maintain confidential information. | Attends required in-services and meetings. | Strong understanding of operating metrics, financial reporting, and statistical applications. | Maintains ongoing communication and collaboration with team members. | Proficient in Microsoft applications including Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. | Exceptional problem solving, communication, and analytical skills. |
Responsibilities | Assures the integrity of financial and statistical data, via review of general ledger entries, reports, schedules, worksheets, reconciliations or other analysis. | Supports complex, ambiguous and highly visible multidisciplinary activities or projects. Works collaboratively with team to ensure all applicable areas are represented in the analysis. | Provides analysis for institutional workgroups or complex projects including but not limited to budget. | Collect data for various strategic planning initiatives or consultant engagements. Prepares projections for manager or other appropriate decision makers | Develops, implements, and maintains programs and tools for financial reporting for complex activities. | Interprets and implements accounting rules, fiscal compliance, policies and/or regulations. Proactively identifies opportunities and recommends options for increasing financial margins | Supports change initiatives and provides analysis as directed. |
Possess the information, skill, and understanding of the work to be performed. Actively participates in continuing education opportunities and maintains certifications, licensure as appropriate. | Abides by all safety requirements including demonstrating proper hand hygiene and wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), if applicable. | Complies with all standards, policies and procedures including dress code, attendance and punctuality. Attends required in-services and meetings and completes all mandatory competencies by deadline. Commits to keeping all patient, student or colleague information confidential and maintains ongoing communication and collaboration with team members. |
