Position Summary | The Workday Integration Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations across HSHS's Workday ecosystem to support Human Resources, Finance, Supply Chain and related business functions. This role ensures seamless data exchange, system reliability, and optimal user experience by developing scalable solutions that align with organizational standards and strategic goals. The Integration Architect partners closely with HR, Finance, Supply Chain and IT teams to analyze business requirements, optimize workflows, and deliver high-quality technical solutions that enhance data integrity and system performance. | | | |
Education | Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, computer science, business, informatics, or related field is required. | High School Diploma or equivalent and five years of experience performing system analysis with business, clinical or administrative applications may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree. |
Experience | 5 years of experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software support and performing system analysis with business, clinical, or administrative applications is required. (This experience level is in addition to the experience required in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.) | Experience with data integrations, application roadmaps and/or technical and workflow architecture is required. | Workday experience is required. |
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations | Workday Certification is required or within 12 months of hire. |
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities | Strong experience with integration, interface, networking, and data warehousing technologies. | Strong Knowledge of Workday tools. | Understand advanced database architecture, tables, functional interactions, and recognize and understand impacts to downstream systems. | Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills. | Ability to prioritize workload and execute tasks independently, providing timely follow-up and resolution. | Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. |
Responsibilities | Design, build, and maintain Workday integrations, including inbound and outbound data flows across HR and related systems. | Gather requirements, develop technical specifications, and deliver tested and deployed integrations that meet business needs. | Continuously evaluate and improve integration performance, reliability, and security. | Ensures accuracy and integrity of data and applications through analysis, coding, clear documentation, and problem resolution. | Partner with business and technical teams to design and maintain integrations aligned with operational goals. | Provides advice on technical aspects of system development and processes. | Analyzes and translates functional specifications and change requests into technical specifications. | Research emerging Workday technologies and recommend enhancements to system architecture and integration strategy. | Provide subject matter expertise for integration-related troubleshooting, monitoring, and incident resolution. | Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and process redesign projects to ensure seamless implementation. | Assists with related projects, including system releases/upgrades, enhancement, and process redesign, and will troubleshoot and resolve all issues related to system configuration and set-up. | May assist in the coordinator of Tier 1 IT projects. |
Possess the information, skill, and understanding of the work to be performed.
