Position Summary | The Workday Integration Architect will perform technical activities in Workday supporting various modules in the system. This role optimizes HSHS' business processes and ensures seamless data integration for the Human Resources (HR) department and end users. The Workday Integration Architect researches, designs, documents, maintains and develops new business processes, new functionalities & reports with an emphasis on the user experience and system standards. | | | |
Education | Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, computer science, business, informatics, or related field is required. | High School Diploma or equivalent and five years of experience performing system analysis with business, clinical or administrative applications may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree. |
Experience | 5 years of experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software support and performing system analysis with business, clinical, or administrative applications is required. (This experience level is in addition to the experience required in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.) | Experience with data integrations, application roadmaps and/or technical and workflow architecture is required. | Workday experience is required. |

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities | Strong experience with interface, networking, and data warehousing technologies. | Knowledge of Workday implementation tools. | Understand advanced database architecture, tables, functional interactions, and recognize and understand impacts to downstream systems. | Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills. | Ability to prioritize workload and execute tasks independently, providing timely follow-up and resolution. | Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. |
Responsibilities | Provides support for Workday inbound and outbound integration issues, changes to existing integrations as well as new integrations. | Gathers requirements, develops/fixes/tests/deploys all types of integrations. | Continually improves and perfects system performance and reliability. | Ensures accuracy and integrity of data and applications through analysis, coding, clear documentation, and problem resolution. | Consults with business and technical teams about interface design and maintenance; collaborates with other technical leads on design decisions. | Provides advice on technical aspects of system development and processes. | Analyzes and translates functional specifications and change requests into technical specifications. | Understands and follows data governance and ensure attention to data quality. | Understands and follows defined integration/development standards and best practices. | Understands and ensures security and data privacy standards. | Provides support for incident management and integration monitoring. | Performs routine break/fix support and regression testing and support for the inbound/outbound interfaces to the system. | Assists with related projects, including system releases/upgrades, enhancement, and process redesign, and will troubleshoot and resolve all issues related to system configuration and set-up. |
Possess the information, skill, and understanding of the work to be performed. Actively participates in continuing education opportunities and maintains certifications, licensure as appropriate. | Abides by all safety requirements including demonstrating proper hand hygiene and wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), if applicable. | Complies with all standards, policies and procedures including dress code, attendance and punctuality. Attends required in-services and meetings and completes all mandatory competencies by deadline.
