Position Summary | The Manager-Talent Acquisition leads the Talent Acquisition staff within a specific department or area for the System while providing guidance, operational oversight, and support to ensure services are effective, efficient, and meet organizational needs. This crucial role works closely with hiring managers to understand business needs and position expectations to hire the right talent for the organization. The Manager-Talent Acquisition leverages resources to achieve effective sourcing, branding and attraction, screening, selection, hiring, and onboarding of high-quality, diverse talent across the organization. | | | |
Education | Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration is required. | High School Diploma or equivalent plus 5 years of recruitment, talent sourcing or other related Human Resources experiences may be considered in lieu of degree. |
Experience | 3-5 years of progressively responsible leadership experience is required. | 3-5 years of experience using applicant tracking system (ATS) is required. | Healthcare industry experience is strongly required. | 5 years of successful experience recruiting top talent or related experience is required. (This experience is in addition to the experience required in lieu of bachelor’s degree requirement.) |

Responsibilities | Directly manages talent acquisition consultants, including the team’s performance and productivity. | Partners with System HR leadership, assists with leadership and management of the Talent Acquisition function, including processes, programs, and projects. | Tracks critical key talent acquisition metrics and develops action steps for improvement. | Develops positive relationships with hiring managers, colleagues, and other partners to grow the organization’s network. | Oversees the team is utilizing technology tools to facilitate recruiting, hiring, and pre-boarding processes. | Conducts job interviews and recruits for open positions as needed to assist with open requisition volumes. | Develops and implements recruitment strategies, procedures, and tactics to meet current and future hiring needs. | Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, especially in the area of employment law pertinent to the talent acquisition function | Advises, educates and trains hiring managers on interviewing best practices and techniques. | Partners with Workforce Analytics and Sourcing to define needed metrics, qualitative information and client feedback to project vacancies in assigned departments. |
Leads a team of colleagues in human resource initiatives including but not limited to; performance management; education and development; selection and retention; workforce planning; coaching and counseling; and supporting activities that promote colleague engagement and satisfaction. | Leads or supports the financial resource functions including but not limited to; managing expenses; preparing, monitoring and executing within limits of the budget; monitors productivity standards; manages the purchasing process and all decisions related to the finances for the area of responsibility. | Leads or supports change and process improvement initiatives including but not limited to; strives for standard, efficient and value-added processes; communicates a clear vision; influences and motivates others; and develops strong relationships with key stakeholders. |
