Position Summary | The System Director-Financial Operations & Analysis provides overall business and financial analysis for all entities. The oversight of analysis may include the following: the creation of the budget, financial proformas, supporting the analysis for initiatives related to new or updated contracts. This role has overall responsibility for the team's accuracy of information and fully understanding the data needs of the customer while providing summaries and insight to enhance business decision making. Has significant work with a team, matrix environment working across multiple locations, and coordination with system functional teams across the System. | | | |
Education | Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field is required. | Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field is preferred. |
Experience | 10 years of relevant financial analysis experience working with a hospital or healthcare organization is required. | 5 years of leadership experience is required. |

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities | Highly motivated with strong leadership, analytical and organizational skills. Responsibilities | Provides month-end analysis for both revenue and expenses, and support preparation of materials/analysis for System and Board review. | Supports Finance Leadership on projects and analysis. | Ensures standardized process and approach on budget, financial analysis and other system work, and communicates expectations and progress to stakeholders. | Coordinates proforma work with local ministries and Physician Enterprise. | Develops budgets, projections and long range plans by working with the system, market and local leadership. | Provides valuable input to monthly and quarterly internal reports and analyzes. Focuses on meaningful and material data points that shed light on execution quality and improvement opportunities. Acts proactively and shows initiative with regard to risk assessment, escalation and mitigation. | Works collaboratively with centralized accounting on ministry specific items; including 990's, audit footnotes, and cost reports. | Develops training materials and programs (whether formal or informal) that optimize and standardize the processes and tools used by the Business Operations organization. | Manages and mentors analysts to foster their development and improve the business acumen of the business you support as a whole. | Creates and grows a team that demonstrates excellent customer service skills; anticipates, understands, and addresses customer needs in a timely manner. |
