Position Summary | The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Analyst provides technical support for all ERP Systems software such as Workday and develops reports and utility applications as required. Modifies existing software and configures new system software. Demonstrates a working knowledge of ERP applications and how they interrelate to other systems within the organization, such as Epic and the Enterprise Data Warehouse. Utilizes ERP tools and applications of the operating system platform to tune the processing, data manipulation and integrations as required. | | | |
Education | Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Technology or related field is required. | High School Diploma or GED plus five (5) years of experience in programming, development, report writing or other related IT (Information Technology) application development may be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree. |
Experience | Two (2) years of experience in development, report writing, or other related information technology field is preferred. | Two (2) years of technical ERP and Workday experience is preferred. | Data structure experience and reporting in other analytical systems such as PowerBI or Epic is a plus. |
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations | Workday certification in designated functionality module(s) is preferred. |
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities | Possesses a strong understanding of HR processes, data structures, and best practices. | Ability to maintain data integrations. | Possesses understanding of Workday applications and other HSHS systems. | Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities; adapt to changes in scope. | Translates business requirements into design and technical specs and ensures HSHS takes advantage of Workday best practices. |
Responsibilities | Prepares and delivers Workday reports to stakeholders across the company. | Identifies configuration strategies, risks, and options and recommend approaches and mitigations to meet client/functional requirements. | Provides support and guidance for systems feature, version, and bug releases. | Develops, tests, implements and monitors custom integrations with organization or third-party applications. | Participates in technical research on upgrades to determine feasibility, cost, time required, and compatibility with current HRIS (Human Resource Information System) systems. | Supports release management, reviews release summary and releases readiness documents from system vendors. | Writes and maintains system documentation. | Uses the Workday Community site to troubleshoot and identify ways to better utilize the system. | Prepares detailed flow charts and diagrams outlining systems capabilities and processes. | Assists with the coordination of Tier 1 ITS (Information Technology Systems) projects. Provides evening, night, and/or weekend on-call support as scheduled. |
Possess the information, skill, and understanding of the work to be performed. Actively participates in continuing education opportunities and maintains certifications, licensure as appropriate. | Abides by all safety requirements including demonstrating proper hand hygiene and wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), if applicable. | Complies with all standards, policies and procedures including dress code, attendance and punctuality. Attends required in-services and meetings and completes all mandatory competencies by deadline. Commits to keeping all patient, student or colleague information confidential and maintains ongoing communication and collaboration with team members. |
