Position Summary | The Program Manager-Community Giving is responsible for the oversight and execution of system-wide appeal programs, including special events, and standard stewardship activities and communications across all Hospital Sisters of St. Francis (HSSFF) ministries. This position will play a vital role in growing the philanthropic revenue for a mission-driven Foundation. | | | |
Education | Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Philanthropic Studies or related field is required. | High School Diploma or GED plus 5 years related experience in communications, marketing, philanthropy, fundraising or sales may be considered in lieu of degree. |
Experience | 3 years’ experience in planning and execution of multi-channel (print, online, video) annual giving programs is required (This experience is in addition to experience used in lieu of degree). | Minimum 3 years supervisory/team lead experience is required. | Experience with fundraising and data management systems is required. Raiser's Edge experience is highly preferred. | Experience with moves management process, including prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship is preferred. |

Responsibilities | Manages and implements the HSSFF's appeals program (direct mail, in-kind donations, online giving, etc.) with clear solicitation protocols for donor renewal, recovery and acquisition in alignment with defined operational calendar deadlines. | Assists in the creation of external stewardship content and collateral for HSSFF, including but not limited to newsletters, social media, website, and invitations, and ensures system-wide marketing and brand protocols are met. | Develops and maintains a system-wide Grateful Patient program. | Leads all strategic planning and implements the annual colleague giving effort, All Together Campaign. | Strategizes with HSSFF leaders to establish goals and objectives and coordinate all annual fundraising efforts; meets or exceeds the system appeals fundraising goals. | Manages system-wide Giving Benefit levels ensuring proper delivery of recognition, solicitation and appreciation benefits. | Maintains system-wide appeals/stewardship calendar of activities to ensure proper timelines are met for all activity and meet Foundation standards for production. | Analyzes all annual solicitation activity to ensure success measurements and ROI objectives are met. | Ensures proper gift acknowledgment, donor recognition and donor stewardship programs exist and standards are maintained at all times. |
Possess the information, skill, and understanding of the work to be performed. Actively participates in continuing education opportunities and maintains certifications, licensure as appropriate. | Abides by all safety requirements including demonstrating proper hand hygiene and wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), if applicable. | Complies with all standards, policies and procedures including dress code, attendance and punctuality.
