Position Summary | Provides support for system accountable care quality and utilization management success. Responsible for assisting with validating, capturing, and reporting data to internal and external customers. This will include interacting with a variety of data sources and customers in alignment with system accountable care strategic initiatives. The position supports a wide range of initiatives to improve success in value-based contracts. | | | |
Education | High School Diploma or GED is required. | Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in health policy, business economics, nursing, public health, community health or healthcare administration preferred. |
Experience | 2-3 years healthcare experience is preferred. |
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations | Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is preferred. |
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities | Ability to analyze and interpret data, ensuring data integrity. | Strong written, verbal, and listening skills. | Ability to drive multiple projects to successful completion. | Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential information. | Possesses flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment. | Demonstrates a high level of accuracy. |
Responsibilities | Collect and analyze safety/quality trends, performance, and metrics across the expected timeframes, incorporating continuous process improvement (CPI) techniques for efficiencies. Evaluates the effectiveness of process improvements to ensure and sustain compliance standardization across the System. | Assists in gathering information for the preparation of reports and statistics for Accountable Care. Analyze clinical data to optimize workflow, ensure that documentation and reports are processed, and train staff to use the systems and capture data correctly for future analysis. | Works in collaboration with the operations and local teams in support of accountable care goals. | Analyzes data and performs quality checks and audits on data samples to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and completeness based on data definitions. Analyzing and interpreting complex data elements which identify outcomes that maximize safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable and patient centered care. | Assist with development of quality and utilization dashboards which identifies opportunity and tracks performance in value-based programs. | Ensures timely preparation and/or submission of required data/metrics. | Participates in user testing of data, identifies problems with data, records and reports problems. | Provides expert advice and assistance in matching needs and application functionality through understanding of operations, quality systems and other health applications. | Routinely reviews the quality analysis processes to ensure state and federal guidelines are in compliance. |
Possess the information, skill, and understanding of the work to be performed. Actively participates in continuing education opportunities and maintains certifications, licensure as appropriate. | Abides by all safety requirements including demonstrating proper hand hygiene and wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), if applicable. | Complies with all standards, policies and procedures including dress code, attendance and punctuality. Attends required in-services and meetings and completes all mandatory competencies by deadline.
