Position Summary

The Coordinator-Telehealth supports the Telehealth Program Director in developing and executing grant reporting, compliance documentation and deliverables.  The Coordinator-Telehealth will strengthen and expand relationships with Illinois Telehealth Network (ITN) members, support integration of new and existing telehealth offerings into the HSHS system and successfully maintain positive relationships with ITN members, grant staff and internal colleagues.


Education

Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, philanthropic studies, or a related field is required.

High school diploma or equivalent plus five years of experience in telehealth, managing rural health networks,  business or communications many be considered in lieu of degree.


Experience

3-5 years of grant-specific fundraising experience is required.

Develops and delivers accurate grant reports and program updates.

Responsibilities

Supports the ITN Program Director in development and execution of grant deliverables and grant reporting.

Works with ITN members to support and develop mature programs and launch pilots for new programs. Works with operational department leaders and subject matter experts to integrate telehealth into HSHS operations to ensure sustainability.

Researches funds available through public (government), corporate and foundation sources to match the present and future needs of the ITN and HSHS.

Monitors funded projects throughout the grant period (post-award) and assures timely communication of results aligned with stated deadlines.

Responsible for executing the strategic plan, under the direction of the Program Director.

Maintains detailed files and records that allow ease of program reporting, access to details of funded grants and satisfies the needs of auditors.

Ensures compliance with all state and federal telehealth regulations.


Possess the information, skill, and understanding of the work to be performed.  Actively participates in continuing education opportunities and maintains certifications, licensure as appropriate.

Abides by all safety requirements including demonstrating proper hand hygiene and wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), if applicable. 

Complies with all standards, policies and procedures including dress code, attendance and punctuality.  Attends required in-services and meetings and completes all mandatory competencies by deadline. Commits to keeping all patient, student or colleague information confidential and maintains ongoing communication and collaboration with team members.
