Position Summary

The System Manager-Telehealth provides strategic, operational, and administrative leadership for the System's telehealth service line. This leader optimizes performance and ensures alignment with organizational priorities across clinical, financial, and operational domains. This role is responsible for executing systemwide telehealth strategy, overseeing day-to-day telehealth operations and program implementations, partnering with cross-functional leaders to ensure effective, integrated care-delivery, and driving performance through data analytics and continuous improvement.

Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field is required.

Master’s Degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.

5 years of experience in healthcare operations is required.

3 years of progressively responsible leadership experience is required.

2+ years of experience planning and executing telehealth operations and strategy is required.

Ability to build trust and manage conflict with key stakeholders to maintain collaborative internal and external partnerships (e.g. with colleagues, other departments, regional and system partners, physicians and the community).

Understands operational components necessary to manage the telehealth service line, including but not limited to capital, equipment, people, education, quality metrics and costs.

Demonstrated and strong analytical, critical/strategic thinking and decision-making skills.

Ability to lead and manage multiple complex projects.

Ability to identify short and long-term goals, establishing realistic plans to achieve our Mission.

Ensures adherence to telehealth regulations, billing requirements, and privacy standards.

Leads the system telehealth governance council, aligning stakeholders and facilitating decision making.

Monitors key performance indicators, including telehealth utilization and financial performance.

Supports vendor selection, contracting, and performance management.

Leads a team of colleagues in human resource initiatives including but not limited to; performance management; education and development; selection and retention; workforce planning; coaching and counseling; and supporting activities that promote colleague engagement and satisfaction. 

Leads or supports the financial resource functions including but not limited to; managing expenses; preparing, monitoring and executing within limits of the budget; monitors productivity standards; manages the purchasing process and all decisions related to the finances for the area of responsibility. 

Leads or supports change and process improvement initiatives including but not limited to; strives for standard, efficient and value-added processes; communicates a clear vision; influences and motivates others; and develops strong relationships with key stakeholders.
